Difference Direct and AppStore Edition (Mac)

SimpleMind Pro for Mac is available in two editions:

1. the Direct Edition, sold via our website
2. the AppStore Edition, sold by Apple’s App Store

The main features are the same. However, the AppStore edition is sandboxed. This a security measure from Apple and limits what the SimpleMind AppStore edition is able to do.
When working with different devices this limits the ability to open linked documents, mind maps and images. Therefore, we recommend the Direct Edition.
