Delete, rename or move mind maps (iPad/iPhone)

Local, Dropbox, or iCloud-SimpleMind

You can delete, rename, or move mind maps stored in Local, Dropbox, or iCloud-SimpleMind directly in SimpleMind. Here's how:

1. Navigate to the mind map you want to manage.
2. Left-swipe slightly to reveal options:
   • More: Use this to rename, move, or duplicate the mind map.
   • Delete: Tap to delete, or left-swipe completely to remove the mind map.

Files (Managed by Apple’s Files App)

For mind maps stored in Files, use Apple’s Files app to manage them because SimpleMind does not have permission to edit your files.

• Deleting a Shortcut: You can left-swipe in SimpleMind to delete the shortcut, but this does not delete the actual file. The file will still exist in the Files app and/or your cloud storage.

Managing Folders in iCloud-SimpleMind

To delete or rename folders in iCloud-SimpleMind, use Apple’s Files app. SimpleMind does not have permission to modify folders.
