Create new mind maps
and click on the “New Mind Map” icon at the bottom of the screen.
SimpleMind will ask you where to store the mind map. You can choose every folder, so you could, for example, choose iCloud Drive.
Open existing mind maps
The files tabs shows the list of recently opened mind maps for your convenience. To open a mind map that is not displayed, open Apple’s Files app, select the file and double click to open.
Export Local Mind map to the Files app.
If you want to “copy” local mind maps, open the local mind map. Select the share icon from the toolbar → “Open in..” or “Open Outline in..”. Select the Files app and choose the location.
The local mind map can be deleted as it is now a mere copy.
Tip, if you switch clouds it is easiest to simply move all cloud files via Finder.
Note: The AppStore editions are sandboxed. When you open a mind map in the Files tab, linking, for example to another mind map, is not possible.
