True ownership of your mind maps
SimpleMind doesn’t have access to your mind maps. Your mind maps are files, and you can store your mind maps where you want.
They’re never stored on our servers, so we at SimpleMind never have access to your mind maps. You choose how to sync them—whether that’s via your cloud service (such as Dropbox) or not at all.
In the free version mind maps are stored in a private folder on your device.
Because mind maps are not stored on our servers, we cannot access your mind maps. We cannot see how many mind maps you made. We cannot see the contents of your mind maps. The mind maps are truly yours.
No built-in AI that has access to your thoughts and ideas
SimpleMind doesn’t have built-in AI. For your data, this means:
- There’s no AI that “reads” your data.
- AI cannot collect your data.
- AI cannot learn from your data or re-use it
- AI does not analyze your data and cannot build a profile.
You can still use AI with SimpleMind when you want to. For example, you can share your mind map with an AI such as ChatGPT and ask it to review it. But that’s still your choice, and you control when and what you share with what AI.
Privacy
We never share or sell your data. You’re our customer, not our product. It’s a clear concept: we only make money when you purchase a paid version.
We don’t use your data to serve you ads. In fact, we do not show ads for other products, not even in our free versions.
Your private thoughts stay truly private.
